The short version
We do not sell, share, or monetize any personal data.
What we do NOT collect
- Account data (there are no accounts)
- Payment information
- Your priority date — this is processed locally in your browser and never transmitted
Contact form
If you use the Contact page, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, and message. Contact form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party service we use to receive messages. We disclose this so you know your submission passes through Formspree's infrastructure; their handling of your data is governed by Formspree's Privacy Policy. We use your information solely to respond to your inquiry and do not share it with any other third parties.
What we do collect — Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the tool. Google Analytics may collect:
- Your approximate location (city and country, derived from your IP address)
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- How you arrived at the site (search engine, direct link, etc.)
When you click the Analyze My Wait button, we also send the following anonymized event properties to GA4:
- The category type selected (Employment-Based or Family-Based)
- The EB/FB category selected (e.g., EB-2, F2A)
- The country of chargeability selected
This data is used solely to understand which categories and countries are most commonly used. Your priority date is never included. This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
We also track anonymized interaction events such as which CTA buttons or resource links are clicked.
This data is collected by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We only see aggregated, anonymized reports — we cannot identify individual visitors. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to track sessions. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Data sources
All immigration data displayed on this site is sourced from official U.S. government publications — the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). This data is publicly available and not personalized to any individual.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have rights regarding personal data collected about you. Since we do not collect personal data directly, the primary contact for data rights related to analytics is Google. You can manage your Google data at myaccount.google.com.
